During the annual Closing Concert on the Amstel on Liberation Day, Toprek Rigging has proudly delivered a consistent technical contribution for the past ten years. This year marks a special milestone: for the tenth time, we installed the Flying by Wire™ system, enabling a camera to fly smoothly across the Amstel in the heart of Amsterdam.
The system provides dynamic and immersive aerial images over the river, enhancing the experience of the concert for both the live audience and viewers at home. Its installation requires the highest level of precision, close coordination with the production and technical teams, and an uncompromising focus on safety—especially at such an iconic location and on a day of great national significance.
Reaching this ten-year milestone is something we are truly proud of. It reflects our long-standing involvement with the event and our commitment to using technical expertise to support a celebration where freedom, music, and connection take center stage.
